All certified Therapy Dogs who would like to participate in therapy visits at Crosby Commons should contact Laura Hovanec at 723-4187.
Dogs must be certified through TDI, Delta or another therapy organization to participate in any therapy activity as some of these organizations provide insurance coverage that may respond if an incident takes place while on an authorized visit.
Members are encouraged to contact their certifying organization to determine exactly what coverage would be available and in what specific situations.
Club members who are interested in getting involved in community service with their dogs, for certification in ‘Animal Assisted Activity”, i.e. Pet therapy can check out:
